LGUs can also dedicate their funds in using thematic overlay maps to see where COVID-19 cases emerge or are concentrated to be able to respond more effectively and efficiently to areas in their communities where the COVID-19 virus may converge.
Overview
It shows how LGUs can make use of the features of provincial, municipal, and barangay boundaries, road and river networks, geohazard vulnerabilities, and conflict flashpoints and use these spatial features for appropriate response.
In addition, LGUs can use spatial features to identify PUMs and PUIs, visualize and plan out the deployment of basic commodities to the affected communities, and allow medical workers to continuously monitor their health condition.
