LGUs can convert public areas such as gyms into triages to help patients.
Overview
In partnership with the Diocese of Baguio, the LGU put up its central triage in the St. Vincent Gym. The facility has 11 sub-triages which are categorized based on the medical conditions of the returning Baguio residents (RBRs) and workers.
To accommodate the entry of RBRs and workers, the city government created a two-triage system where returning residents undergo initial triage in the checkpoint areas. Those with symptoms are escorted to the triages of hospitals while asymptomatic returning residents are brought to the central triage.
