LGUs can require health workers to attend these virtual trainings to ensure proper handling of COVID-19 cases.
Overview
USAID-MTaPS’ virtual training aims to reach more health workers across the country to ensure support to the DOH’s effort at controlling COVID-19 and ensuring the health supply system is designed to swiftly and reliably source and deliver essential health commodities, including PPE for healthcare workers, that are needed during this crisis.
There are 3 modules currently conducted (1) Infection Prevention and Control (2) Health Care Waste Management (3) Supply Chain Management. A 4th module is also being offered for the cleaners, fire fighters, maintenance staff, and other personnel involved in disinfection activities in the local hospitals and communities.
