Violence Against Women Hotlines

LGUs can post the hotlines around their community.

As the Enhanced Community Quarantine is implemented in the different parts of the country, the cases of domestic violence is projected to increase.

In the Philippines, 1 in 4 women aged 15 to 49 experience physical, emotional, or sexual violence from their husband or partner. In the wake of emergencies, intimate partner violence may rise with many people spending time indoors.

Domestic violence is likely to increase during the time of crisis.

If you are or know someone who experience violence, don’t hesitate to seek help from your barangay VAW Desk, nearest police precinct and/or Provincial/City/Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Local Government Units.

Here are the numbers of the service providers for the victims of Republic act 9262 or the Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
