If the returning overseas Filipino was a resident on their area, the LGUs can provide a compilation of the nearest and affordable quarantine accommodations within their location based on the list of the government facilities.
Overview
According to the online press briefing by presidential spokesperson Harry Roque last May 11, 2020:
-All returning Filipinos who are not overseas workers and foreign nationals will have to spend their own expenses on the government's quarantine facilities.
-PhilHealth would be the one to shoulder the costs for coronavirus testing.
-Roque did not specify the amount of cost of being placed under quarantine in the government facilities.
-The returning Filipinos and foreign citizens will undergo testing for coronavirus and will be placed under quarantine in government facilities while waiting for results
-If the result is positive, they will go straight to hospitals or to a We Heal as One Center in Metro Manila.
-Meanwhile, If the individual is negative for the coronavirus, they may return home while assisted by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) or local government units.
