Overview
The City of Ormoc developed a contact tracing tool that gives real time data on who may be exposed to a person infected with coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 and their location. Apart from helping the LGU in its contact tracing efforts, the SAFE Ormoc app also gives the city government valuable data analytics as the city tries to reopen its economy. The app uses the quick response (QR) system and assigns a unique QR to every person who registers at https://safeormoc.today.
